Imagination and adventure should be the seeds of education. When cultivated, imagination inspires the young to see what is good, true and beautiful and the spirit of adventure gives the courage to venture out and find it.
Ten years ago, Riverside launched inspirational experiences, programs, and camps based on the concept that an ideal learning environment encourages children to cultivate their creative gift, explore epic stories, and adventure in the outdoors.
Our efforts have borne fruit in our community. The first generation of Riverside boys and girls are now confident young men and women in college and the workplace.
Yet while our roots are deep, we desire room to grow. It has been our dream to have a home of our own...a place to build a true landscape of adventure and imagination. The possibilities for such a place are endless; but we cannot do it without help.

A New Adventure...
Riverside has been blessed to utilize beautiful spaces like St. James at Sag Bridge and the Mayslake Peabody Estate, and we are so very grateful. But, the ultimate goal has always been to have our own property where, over time, we can create the ideal - the pinnacle - for imaginative and adventurous learning.
There is a connection between place, memory, imagination, and emotion that can both strengthen the imaginative powers and teach one the truth: the physical world or place can be the launching point or gateway for our imagination to see beyond.
